#178... a gift *cleaned.

The adage “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” is NOT found in the Bible. But consider this:

“The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever.”
~ Psalm 19:9 (KJV)

The Hebrew word בָּר -- 'tahowr' is translated “clean” in the KJV. (The word “pure” is used in other translations.)

By definition, it means to be ceremonially & morally clean or unpolluted. In other words, true fear and reverence of God is pure, and those who fear the Lord are pure in heart. They are clean.

So... in a sense, cleanliness is next to Godliness. What do you think?
